Entrepreneurs have year-round, 24-hour access to the facility and equipment at Blue Ridge Food Ventures, which allows them to manufacture their products in an efficient and safe manner. Registered users pay an hourly rate when they are in production, and have the option to rent dry or cooler storage space at published rates. For more information, see our Schedule of Fees.
Inspections & Production Guidelines
The facility meets guidelines for current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), which have been established by the Federal government to ensure a safe food supply, as well as the safe production of dietary supplements and natural products.
Blue Ridge Food Ventures undergoes regular inspections. In addiiton, each business that operates at our facility is inspected individually by the relevant regulatory authorities.
Scheduling & Security
Our online scheduling system makes it easy and convenient to reserve processing time. Our security system allows entry only by registered user, carefully controlling building access.
Because of our location on the A-B Tech Enka campus, there is also 24-hour security surveillance so that working at night is a safe and convenient way for new entrepreneurs to get started while still keeping their daytime occupations.
