AdvantageWest’s Blue Ridge Advanced Manufacturing Initiative is pleased to announce that the first Advantage Innovation Event of 2008 will be dedicated to a Lean Supply Chain Seminar. The expert instructors for the seminar will be from the Manufacturing & Technology Institute and CH2M-Hill/Lockwood Greene. AdvantageWest will underwrite the cost of this one-day training which is normally $195 per person.  The training consists of lecture and a simulated supply chain exercise involving hands on participation by all attendees.  WCI, Inc., the NCSU Industrial Extension Service, and the members of AdvantageWest’s Economic Developers Advisory Council will be present at the seminar to network with representatives from manufacturing companies across the region.

Who:     Open to any staff members with businesses and industries in the 23 county AdvantageWest region
