AdvantageWest Announces Series of Renewable Energy Supply Chain Mfg. Opportunities Forums
Date Posted: 7/25/2012
Presented by AdvantageWest, App State’s Energy Center, and the EvolveEnergy Partnership
Renewable Energy Supply Chain Manufacturing Opportunities is a series of three workshops that seek to leverage the tremendous market growth for renewable energy equipment – both global and domestic – into increased industry activity and new manufacturing jobs in Western North Carolina.
Purpose: To facilitate the entry of existing and prospective manufacturers within the AdvantageWest region into markets for renewable energy and energy efficiency equipment and supply chain components.
Goals:
- Inform manufacturers of growth opportunities in green energy markets
- Identify barriers to market entry common to manufacturers across the region
- Collaboratively devise strategies to overcome or reduce identified barriers
Forums: This program will be offered as three distinct forums across the AdvantageWest region. All of the forums will provide an overview of renewable energy manufacturing and market trends, and then each will focus on a different supply chain topic area. There is no-cost to attend these forums, however seating is limited to 50 attendees per session. Lunch will be provided, so registration is required.
