A study compiled and released by the NC State Poole College of Management in April 2014 on the impact of the state's 25% film tax incentive.

Research Report on Value-Added Foods

Conducted by AdvantageWest and partners, the mandate of this research was to assess the potential viability and marketability of certain value-added and natural products that traditionally haven’t been produced in the region to any great extent. We learned there is tremendous market potential for a variety of value-added products such as elderberry products, hops, apple brandy, smokehouse services and more.
