Presented by the Asheville Affiliates to benefit Blue Ridge Food Ventures, the event will feature food, fun, craft beer, wine, and signature cocktails, and a vibrant mixture of upbeat gypsy jazz, Latin, swing and original jazz compositions from the band One Leg Up ─ plus, fantastic silent auction items and plenty of surprises.   • Parking is limited. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
  • The event will happen rain or shine (The Boathouse is a covered pavilion).
  • If you pre-register, your name will on a list at the front gate (there are no physical tickets).
  • IDs will be checked at the door.

Chilled craft beverages

Directions

Take a midsummers evening at a riverside pavilion. Pour in a liberal helping of chilled craft beverages and a splash of spirits.

Add a smorgasbord of tasty local delicacies, including fare fresh from the farm.

Fold in some cool raffle and auction items, and spice it up with a dash of hot tunes from a sizzling band.

STIR like CRAZY, blending in hundreds of zesty movers 'n' shakers.

Toss in a generous quantity of community goodwill and let marinate for at least 3 hours. Garnish with seasonal flora and a handful of fireflies, then serve immediately with a mix of joy and laughter.

Note: This hearty creation is best enjoyed with friends and colleagues, especially those who are hungry for a party with a purpose.

Yield: A memorable evening of fun and frolic, with lasting benefits for North Carolina’s first kitchen incubator, resulting in substantial assistance to scores of startups and small businesses crafting artisan foods and natural products.

Substitutions: Those who are unable to partake in this sweet Asheville Affiliates culinary celebration can substitute a direct donation to Blue Ridge Food Ventures, a job creation initiative of AdvantageWest, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit economic development organization serving the citizens of Western North Carolina.
